# Upgrading and Downgrading a Plan

> Managing your SVGverseAI subscription is simple — you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan anytime directly from your Account → Billings dashboard. Your changes take effect immediately, and all payments and adjustments are securely processed through the Dodo Payment Gateway.

### **Upgrading Your Plan**

When you upgrade, your new plan activates instantly, and your billing is automatically adjusted based on the remaining time in your current plan.

#### To upgrade from Free to a Paid Plan:

1. Go to **Account → Billings** in the left sidebar.
2. Click **Change Plan** under your current subscription.
3. Choose your preferred plan — *Starter*, *Creator*, or *Pro*.
4. Click **Get Started** and complete the checkout process securely through the **Dodo payment window**.
5. Once confirmed, your upgraded plan will activate immediately.

Your credits and premium features — including **Blaze Mode**, **Private Generation**, **PNG → SVG conversion**, and **Collections** — unlock instantly after payment.

#### To switch between paid plans:

1. Open **Account → Billings**.
2. Under your current plan, click **Change Plan**.
3. Select the new plan you want to move to.
4. Confirm your selection and complete the payment through **Dodo Payments**.

> 💡 **Tip:** If you switch plans before your billing cycle ends, SVGverseAI automatically adjusts your remaining balance in your next invoice.

### **Downgrading Your Plan**

You can downgrade your plan or move back to the **Free Plan** anytime.\
When you downgrade, your existing plan remains active until the current billing cycle ends — so you can continue using your remaining credits and features.

#### To downgrade to a Free Plan:

1. Go to **Account → Billings**.
2. Click **Cancel Plan** next to your current subscription.
3. Select **Downgrade to Free Plan**.
4. Confirm your cancellation in the confirmation window.
5. Your account will automatically switch to the Free Plan at the end of your current billing period.

After downgrading, your **remaining credits** will expire, and your account will retain access only to **Free Plan features** — including **Spark Mode** and **public generations**.

### **Viewing Subscription & Invoices**

From your **Billings** dashboard, you can view:

* Your **current plan**, total credits, and remaining balance
* **Subscription amount** and next renewal date
* **Payment history** with downloadable invoices

Each invoice includes:

* **Amount paid**
* **Payment ID** (from Dodo gateway)
* **Transaction date**
* A **Download** button for PDF copies

All transactions are securely handled by **Dodo Payments** and automatically reflected in your billing history.
